For Manny Pacquiao's fight against Joshua Clottey, Nike decided to focus on the amount of intense training The People's Champ puts in all of his fights. Emphasizing how it's the preparation he puts in that secures him the victory before the match even starts.
Inspired by this insight, we developed a key visual that was used for print, in-store displays, online ads, and the Nike Philippines website.

And to allow customers to experience even just a little bit of what Manny Pacquiao goes through when he trains, we launched an online promo that challenged them to try to match the boxer’s famously intense workouts, by doing as many consecutive push-ups as they could.
They could post videos of their sessions on our site, and Nike would give them a corresponding raffle ticket for each push-up they made. So the harder they trained, the greater their chances of winning, in this case, exclusive Nike apparel.
